Do you prefer heavy editing or more natural editng style!
Great and Important Question!
I tend to lean towards the more natural editing style you see in my gallery. Now, this does NOT mean I will not do touch ups, like for headshots, or scratches on a babies face for NB sessions and such, and I have done a few heavy edits in the past because they were necessary. I do not alter bodies for perfection or take away every wrinkle because you won't look like you, it will change the story being told! However, we can absolutely discuss your desires during our consultation to see If we are a good fit for what you are wanting done!
How should we dress for our family session?
Each session is a little different! I like to specialize each session I do to allow the session to represent you and yours! We will discuss outfits and style at the time of booking!
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Each baby is different and that's okay! I recommend a morning to early afternoon before 11:30 am as a standard but accommodations can be made!
Keep in mind newborn sessions are recommended to take place before the baby is 7 days old, so they are sleepy and still easier to keep asleep. This is why it's important to book your NB session before their birth!
When will I recieve my online album?
I'm glad you asked! We typically set a turn around time for images at up to 2 weeks. For some specialty sessions it can take a little longer which we will discuss in our initial conversations together!
I am on a budget but really need portraits done. Is there anything I can do to make this more affordable?
YES!!! Contact me directly to discuss options available that may get you in budget as well as with beautiful professional photos you will love!
Is there a deposit due? Can prices vary?
Yes and Yes!
A 20% non refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve that time slot. The remainder is due the day of the session before the session begins! If events out of your control prevent your date from working, we will reschedule for a different date. You will have access to 1 reschedule before a $50.00 fee will be required to reschedule a second time.
Prices can vary on sessions based on additional images purchased, travel time, or going over the scheduled time duration booked if special requests are made during the session that could extend the sessions duration. It is my goal to give you the most accurate price and quote from the beginning so communication is key!
I saw in your NB package you mentioned a Specialty Image? What is that?
Have you ever wanted your baby to be nestled in the trunk of an elephant? In a beautiful swing surrounded by lavish flowers? Have you ever wanted your baby to be a part of Star Wars? Throughout my galleries you will see babies in some pretty cute set ups and those are specialty images! There is a lot of work and skill and experience that goes into making these behind the scenes and they are highly recommended! When we communicate about your baby's upcoming NB session, we will go over what creating one of these masterpieces will look like and what part you will get to play in helping to create it!
